Aziatix - "Cold"
Posted 3rd June 2011 by Alex TrupAlthough Asian-American R&B/pop group Aziatix [Official website | Facebook] only launched in March 2011, all 3 members have been individually active for quite some time. With their native-level of English, and western-style R&B/pop production by veteran producer Jae Chong [Wikipedia], I truly feel Aziatix could be the first ethnically East Asian group in the west to do well in the mainstream charts.
My hope is that they are able to open up the western music market for acts that actually come from Asia, although I imagine it will still be quite a few years before Americans are accepting of Chinese, Japanese and Korean language songs in the way they are of Spanish tracks.
